Welmar 126 Professional Modern Upright Piano made in England
A superb quality upright piano made in 1986 in England by Welmar, one of the finest and last of the British piano makers. Fully checked and serviced inside and out, this is a stunning looking and sounding piano suitable for advanced or professional pianists as well as very fortunate beginners! Tone and tuning
It has a very big and rich tone with great balance between brightness and warmth, and a large dynamic range. Excellent full bass and the treble is clear and bell like with a sweet brightness. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440).
Keyboard and action
The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has just been regulated so plays smoothly across the whole keyboard.
Hammers and strings
Not much wear at all in the hammers – it has certainly not been played heavily but has been regularly tuned and maintained through the years.
Sound board
Excellent condition, no cracks or splits
Case
Stunning dark Walnut case. In very good condition no damage, just a little sun fading. Matching stool included.
