Petrof 118 Upright Piano made in 1989

This is an excellent quality modern upright piano made in 1989 in Czech Republic by the renowned Petrof company. Fully checked and serviced inside and out, this is a stunning looking and sounding piano – great for beginners up to professional pianists. Due to the quality of craftsmanship and advanced design features (e.g. the agrafes for each note, usually found only on grand pianos) Petrofs are very highly regarded by musicians for their tonal quality and rightly so.
Tone and tuning
This piano has a lovely rich and sweet tone with great balance between brightness and warmth, and a big dynamic range. The bass is very full and the treble is clear and bell like without any harshness. It has just been tuned to concert pitch (A=440). The piano features top quality German hammer felts.
Keyboard and action
The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the excellent quality action has just been regulated so plays smoothly across the whole keyboard.
Hammers and strings
Relatively little wear in the hammers – has certainly not been played heavily but has been regularly played, tuned and maintained through the years.

Excellent condition, no cracks or splits
Case
In excellent condition with no damage at all, just some barely noticeable marks consistent with age. This is a lovely looking instrument and will complement virtually any decor. Matching stool with storage is included.
