For sale, a very nice example of the Bluthner Style 5 grand piano in gloss mahogany, small enough to fit in any home but big enough to have a satisfying bass.
Serial number 73285, c 1917. Length 177cm. Width 148cm. Height 100cm/180cm lid open.
2 pedals, Una Corda and Sustain.
Bluthner patent action, regulated to give a typical light to medium touch. Stable at A440.
This instrument has had substantial renovation in the past with new strings and tuning pins, and overhaul of the keyboard and action. The wrest plank also appears to have been renewed. The soundboard and bridges are in good order. Original key covers are very good. The case has also been refinished. It does have some small imperfections but still looks very presentable with all period features retained.
