“Evans” upright grand piano by John Broadwood and Sons. Ebony finish, with a lovely tone and a handsome, compact art nouveau style of cabinet. Much loved but not used enough now my children have left home.
All the keys work although the lowest key needs a striking adjustment and the piano will need servicing and retuning. The finish is generally good although it bears the sorts of marks and wear to be expected of long use – see photos.
Measurements approximately 1365mm long, 980mm high, 500mm deep.
The piano is obviously very heavy, in a downstairs room and the buyer will need to move it through a doorway and hall to load it for removal.
