A compact mahogany Art Deco style upright piano by Berry of London, overstrung, underdamped and with a full iron frame.The piano has seven octaves (85 notes), all working well and with no chips on the keys. The lid tilts and can be kept open on a hinged support. The piano has the number 44706 for 1958.The hammers, tapes and felts are all in good clean condition and the soundboard has no splits – please see images of the back. Cosmetically there are some marks on the highly polished wood, commensurate with age!The piano sounds good at the moment but will need tuning once it’s moved and is in situ.Dimensions: Width at top 140cm, depth at keyboard 56cm, height to top lid 92cm.On the ground floor with no steps – we have a piano trolley to help with moving but if collecting in person please make sure you bring strong assistance!All our items are antique or pre-owned and will show signs of previous use unless described as immaculate so please study the photographs to assess the condition.
