A true antique Schiedmayer baby grand piano made in 1900 according to its serial number 20067. It is finished in a french polished black case and has all of its original features intact including turned legs, fretwork music desk and ornate case work.This baby grand piano measures 6 foot 2 inches long and 4 foot 10 inches wide with 85 notes making it ideal for those who want to experience the full tonal depth that only comes from a larger instrument. With a medium touch and powerful tone, this piano is mechanically sound. Aesthetically beautiful, although shows signs of wear, as per photo, due to over 100 years of use as a concert pianists piano. I am selling this on behalf of a friend, who unfortunately due to downsizing property will not have the space for their beloved piano, which they have cherished for over 40 years.
Schiedmayer are highly respected in the trade, most of those in the UK dating between 1890 and 1920. They have a rich warm tone and restore well.
Due to the size, this item is collection only, but I have gone to the trouble of finding a fully insured piano removal companies online for nationwide removals from this area (area F Grand), which have a fixed price of 270 for door to door delivery. Please note, this is not a delivery charge from me, this is just estimated charge for a reliable courier.
