This collard and Collard piano bears the serial number 4465 and is dated circa 1820 – 1850, it is in need of a full restoration but only has one or two missing pieces. Some of the veneer needs attention and It does not come with it’s original stool.
The case is veneered with mahogany and rosewood veneer, ivory keys, and has the famous Collar and Collard inscription on the fascia board.
I bought this 30 years ago as a retirement project but I am now retiring to Spain and will not have the time to restore it or store it for that matter.
This piano is extremely heavy and it would require a four man lift, we could arrange for assistance in loading it.
Even if you did not want to restore it to it’s former glory it would make a beautiful piece of furniture in the grandest of halls,
