Hammond E100 series console organ, 1960s production, portabilised. The organ was rebuilt by myself a few years ago into two road cases, made from birch plywood and covered in vinyl with metal road case fittings. The smaller case houses the tonewheel generator and power supply. The larger case houses the manuals, drawbars, tabs and a sold state preamp of my own design (I am a professional electronics engineer). A double-braced X-stand is provided to mount the manuals section on top of the generator section (see photos) and the two sections are connected using industrial 50-pin connectors. The manuals section has also had 2 extra sets of drawbars added to provide the same tonal resources as a C3, B3, A100 etc. A pedalboard can also be connected (13 pedals only, 4 footages). The power supply includes a Keyboard Partner cycle converter so that the organ can operate on either 50 or 60Hz mains without tuning issues. Output is on a 1/4 inch jack with a further jack for a volume pedal. Full specification is: 2 x 61 note manuals, 2 sets of drawbars for each manual (16′ 5-1/3′ 8′ 4′ 2-2/3′ 2′ 1-3/5′ 1-1/3′ 1′), connection for 13 pedals (16′, 51/3′, 8′, 4′). Second and third harmonic percussion tabs with volume and decay knobs. Scanner vibrato selectable for each manual on tabs, with chorus and celeste knobs. Drawbar select tab for each manual. I am selling this as I have recently purchased a digital Hammond which is obviously easier to carry around, but this organ can be moved by one person (the generator case is on heavy duty castors). The organ is working fine and can be tried/ tested to the buyer’s satisfaction. COLLECTION ONLY due to size and weight – I cannot post or courier this item. Any questions answered promptly.
