1907 C. Bechstein Model 10 Upright Piano Ebony Case with stool.
Possibly one of the best sounding upright pianos around. Although it is straight strung it is still has an under damper mechanism. The tall case gives extra length to the bass strings resulting in the tone being much more even, with a deep bass and clear top end the tone is warm and rich. These model 10 pianos are very desirable and apparently suited very well for recording studio work.
This is a fully working piano that has been in my family for years. It’s ebony finish is clean with only a few minor chips and dents as would be expected but it is clean, dry and no wood worm. It has always been positions in our dining room, away from the radiators so it has never suffered from climate changes such as damp, heat, cold etc. Last tuned 6 years ago so it will need a tweak once it has settled in your home.
Cash on collection please. I would insist on a professional removal company with a good set of wheels (bogey) as it is really heavy.
