Burr walnut casing with an unusual opening to the keys. The top half flaps back and the front section rolls back on grooves each side to sit flush behind the keys. The condition of the top is quite beautiful but the sides have got damaged whilst in storage and to a lesser degree the front panel by the pedals. Very sturdy piano which did have a good sound but is in need of tuning. The keys are discoloured and I have tried to clean them without a great deal of success. Unfortunately, I have never had a key.
It is a large solid piano, hence my reason for selling. I purchased it about 45 years ago and it originally came from Gamages in London.
I am selling it with a piano stool which I have had for a similar amount of time.
