Hammond C2 organ.
The C2 was built between 1949 and 1954.
It of course pre dates the C3/B3.
The C2 does not have the percussion section of the later models.
The percussion can be retrofitted with a unit from TREKll in the states.
The other difference is that the drawbars are what is called ratchet drawbars,not smooth ones like the later models.
This is the only C2 i have ever seen in the UK.
It is a proper 240v version.
This would be ideal for a Hammond Museum.
I am fitting it with a nine pin Leslie kit and the organ will be supplied with a free Leslie 760.
If you dont want the leslie you dont have to have it.
Its in ok condition seeing as its 65+ years old.
I am prepared to pallet it and wrap and strap it for an overseas customer.
But if youre in the UK,im afraid you will either have to bring a van and get white van man to pick it up.
Collection will be from Southport just north of Liverpool.20 minutes off the motorway.
