A beautiful looking upright piano in deep mahogany with central insert and tiny mother of pearl detail. Make is Binns Brothers of Manchester and labelling states it is a coronation edition 1911. We bought the piano second hand and it does need tuning as we never got it done after moving recently and some keys are a little out of tune. One wheel on the bottom has fallen off during the move and we have it propped under the back right hand corner to keep the piano level and the weight of the piano seems to keep it stable on the carpet – not sure if it could be mended but I’m sure it could be with the right tools. There is also a chip out of the wood at the front of the keyboard as shown in the final photograph, but it doesn’t take away from the look of the piano.
All in all a stunning looking piano which would look beautiful in any room.
Please note it is extremely heavy (as pianos are) and would probably need at least 3 strong people to move it
