This is an excellent example of a Bechstein Upright Cottage Piano (length 150 cm, height 118 cm and depth 59 cm).
Serial Number: 57493 (date of manufacture 1874)Frame Stamp: K3310K3516Piano restored by expert in last 5 years Bought second hand in 1955 (have receipt) owned by a classically trained teacher since then who used the piano on a daily basis until mid 2018. Moved approx 6 times since purchase in 1955 always by professional movers.General condition is good – some slight crazing to piano lid due to age but not noticeable unless lid is downBeautiful sound and smooth action.Regularly tuned by professional piano tuner (The tuning pins are in excellent condition and there are no issues with tuning or retaining tension)
