A rare ( can not find another) small antique solid bronze sign or plaque for ‘ ESTEY ORGAN CO. ‘ which had headquarters in Brattleboro, Vermont, U.S.A.
It measures 6.35 in (160 mm) x 0.6 in (15 mm) and is in very good condition with no damage and with good colour and patina. The sign may have come off an office door, desk or even organ or piano.
The Company was founded in 1852 by Jacob Estey and became defunct c1961. For a century, it was the largest Organ (music) manufacturer in the United States.
