Vintage Upright Piano by George Rogers & Sons, in need of tlc. Condition is Used.
This George Rogers & Sons upright piano has sat unused ever since my music-student tenant moved out some years ago. It is probably around fifty years old, maybe more, and has seen better days. Some of the keys have lost their ivory and the veneer of the lid is damaged. Both can be seen in the photos. It certainly needs to be tuned. Sold as seen as a bit of fun for anyone who wants to bash out a few notes (after it has been tuned) or for someone who fancies a restoration project. I understand that George Rogers & Sons were a well-regarded London manufacturer in business from the mid nineteenth century. This particular example was apparently sold by Taylors pianos of Bedworth.
