We have available this beautiful Yamaha U3(S) Upright piano. It is just 20 years old, and is in excellent condition.Serial Number is 5598002 – so you can confirm for yourself (look up online!) that it was built in 1998, in Japan at Yamaha’s main factory, and not one of the lesser quality factories.Regularly tuned (every 6 months, and last tune about 3 weeks ago), it has wonderful tone.You can see from the pictures that it is in excellent condition, and the soundboard/gold board (whatever it is called!) is a sight to behold.This is available as our son has reached Grade 8 (with Distinction!) on this, and we are advised to upgrade to a Grand for his Diploma work. The previous owner (who we bought it from) was a music professor (who had this from new) and this was her personal piano at home. This truly is a piano that has been loved.
Good used, but “young” (20 years is young) U3s are not common, as they are used in piano schools, piano teachers, etc. so tend to be “bashed” around for hours a day, until an inch of their life – so this is a great chance to get once in excellent condition.Included for free is the double width piano stool. Note, it does have a lean on one of the sides, and which probably could be rectified with some minor repair.
