Roland RD-300GX 88 Weighted Key Stage Piano. Condition is Used. Collection in person only.
Lot includes the original power supply, as well as an inexpensive Millenium X-stand if of use to the buyer. Please note the Roland DP sustain pedal originally sold with this keyboard is not included, however these are easy to find.
This would be a great buy for light gigging, home practice or as a MIDI controller (USB MIDI is supported) for sequencing and recording.
This keyboard features a graded weighted action (i.e. the keys towards the bass end are slightly heavier than those at the treble end, like a real piano). It was marketed at the time as the ‘PHA II alpha’ action, the alpha meaning it does have a lighter feel than a ‘true’ piano action. Arguably this may make it more suitable for the younger player, or as a decent compromise for playing piano and organ/synth parts. Variable/half damper is also supported with a suitable pedal.
It is 12 years old, so as pictured there is some very mild discolouration of some of the keys, and one or two minor scuffs underneath, however everything is clean and in full working order.
Collection will be in person only due to the size of the item (roughly 145x35x20cm). I am located in Ilminster, which has good road links via M5 and A303.
