Bechstein Model 9 Upright Piano
For sale is a very nice upright piano in good used condition.
I believe the piano has been in the same family since new: my grandfather used to run a music shop, my father was a professional musician, and this was the piano I grew up with.
The piano has naturally been well looked after and it was tuned regularly up until summer 2018, but it has been very little used since the early 1990s. The keys show some discolouration and the wood is bleached in places, but the case / frame / mechanism are all essentially sound.
This listing includes an adjustable height piano stool with music storage compartment. Please note that one leg of the stool shows obvious signs of an old repair.

It must be collected from Orpington, Kent, on an evening or weekend by arrangement, and no later than Sunday 27th October. Furthermore, the winning bidder must please make suitable arrangements to ensure safe removal of the piano. It is currently in a ground floor room of a detached house, but will need to be moved with due care through doorways, down two front steps, over a porch door threshold, and up a short driveway before reaching kerbside.
