Piano by Hayes of London and Stool. Condition is 60 years old but has been regularly played and maintained (tuning etc) during this time. Both I and my two children learned to play on this instrument which continues to play very well. The case is mahogany but has the scratches that might be expected after this time.
My reason for effectively giving it away is that I no longer have time to play it, and our two children have left home. We will shortly be doing some major renovation work to our home and basically will have no room for it once this is done. I would though hope it would “go to a good home” where it would be used and appreciated. It’s not one of the best brands, but it has a nice tone and is reliable, with many years of use still in it.
