KORG PA50SD PA 50SD PROFESSIONAL ARRANGER KEYBOARD WORKSTATION. Condition is Used. The P.A. in the name of the keyboard stands for “Personal Arranger”. It takes a bit of getting used to and the manual seems to have been written by an adolescent whose first language is not English, but while it can be used as a normal keyboard, it’s beauty lies in the ability to harmonise and arrange your melodies. The PA series first started in 2000. This particular PA50 SD dates from 2009. SD denotes that it’s external memory is an SD Card.The latest model is not much different to this except that it employs a touch screen and not buttons, and has a few different bells and whistles, but substantially it is the same.If you have a melody, you can figure out your chords on the keyboard, and the screen will give you the name of the chord; e.g. Fm7. When you have completed working out the chord sequence you can match your melody to a “style” e.g.Ballad, Tango etc. The PA50 has 304 editable Styles (i.e. you can modify them), that each provides up to eight accompaniment parts drums, bass, percussion and more that respond interactively with your playing. Add the eight parts, four Variations, two Fills, two Intros and two Endings per Style and you have all you that need to create a natural-sounding performance.You can save this on a blank SD card (not included) as a midi file, which you can use in other applications. I am only selling because musically I have progressed to writing in notation on a DAW.Alternatively you can use the keyboard simply for performance. The machine has the usual rich Korg Sounds.ExtrasI am also including an SD Card with 11200 additional styles, which is currently selling at 60 Euros; a RokSak carrying bag, a sustain pedal, a power supply, and the manual.This machine has of course been used and there are some slight scratches which I ought to polish out, but there is no damage and I have had no problems with it.It is quite large and heavy and so I am afraid that the buyer will have to collect or arrange their own courier.
