Time for our Yamaha P 80 digital keyboard to find a new home. It is in full working order, it has some light wear marks on the case consistent with it’s age.
We bought this new about 12 years ago, the model was I think first launched around 2000. Rarely used and kept in a smoke free house.
This was the forerunner of a new generation of portable keyboards from Yamaha with 88 weighted and ‘Graded Hammer Effect’ keys. The action is very close to an analogue piano and you are probably aware of the good reputation Yamaha has for this technology. It has lots of features including dual track recording, a metronome, full MIDI functionality etc etc
It is housed in a compact body, it does weigh a bit though at 17kg. It was and still is a popular keyboard for touring bands.
There are many complimentary reviews of this piano on the web, just Google and spend a few moments reading up on what it can do.
Included is:– the original power supply with UK plug.– the original FC4 foot pedal– the thin plastic music stand that slots into the top (this did get a crack which has been super-glued!)– a professional grade adjustable STAGG keyboard stand.
nb. Not included is a seat or any sort of box or flightcase to transport it. Flightcases are available off the shelf for this piano, just Google again, expect to pay 100 to 200 depending on the spec you might want.
A few of the specifications repeated here for your benefit:
— 64 note polyphony– touch sensitivity; hard, medium or soft– metronome 32 – 280 beats/min– 2 track recorder – 10,000 notes– headphone socket– plenty of input and output sockets– brilliance slider……………… and lots more.
The price is for ‘collection only’ from Kettering, Northants NN15. Rather too big, expensive and indeed risky to give to a delivery company.
