I am pleased to be able offer this lovely little British built Allison upright piano. The Allison factories were founded in 1837 in New Bond Street, London. Known for building good quality pianos, Allison enjoyed great success for over a century. The company was bought out during the 20th century by another British piano manufacturer. Having purchased the Allison piano company, the Chappell piano company continued building Allison pianos until around 1959.
This particular model of Allison piano was built circa.1950 and has needed minimal refurbishment as it has been lovingly looked after by one careful owner and has had regular tuning. So despite it’s age it really is in excellent condition and has a beautiful warm tone. With an 85 note keyboard, this compact little piano would be well suited in a smaller home where space is at a premium.

As a Pro Pianist I have a passion for all things piano. Every piano that comes to me is lovingly restored to a high standard utilising the skills of many different highly trained individuals, all of whom are specialists in their field. Only when I feel a piano has been refurbished to a condition that I would be happy to purchase it at, do I then put it up for sale. Mostly the sales have been to my piano students, their friends or family, or to the local community via word of mouth or shop window adverts, hence I have very little track record with eBay or anywhere else online.
