According to Chappell & Sons manufacture date table, this is a pre 1884 model. It needs renovation by a professional as unfortunately it has some damage to the outer lid due to dog claws. It also has a wheel castor that was missing at time it was received. Its keys are an ivory laminate which has yellowed over time. Two keys need repair due to hammer wear and tear over the years. All other keys are in good working order and it has been played regularly.
It has beautiful scrolled detailed carvings to the sides with gold decals to front and lower front edges. It is a lovely piano which is too big for my home and is the only reason for sale as it was given to me by a friend and will be sad to see it go. Buyer with have to collect please due to weight and size.
