This is a Really elegant piece of 17oo century , playable square antique very vintage pianoIn need of light restoration i do beleiveI play myself, and was wanting to finish the light restoration I think needed to this very elegant price of antique furniture which would grace any main living room / hall way / drawing room, etc. Period type homeEspecialy due to its dimensions. Would fit n just about any room possible indeedApprox 6 ft in lengh x 3 ft width x height 4 ftWith ornate nice mahogany moving music book front storage shelfThe top of the piano does fold back to expose the fully strung instrument sound boardAll fully functionary keys present and all work / sound present etcBeautiful turned legs x 4There is a frontage part that drops over and hides playing keys etc
This very antique piano, does play, but would benefi from re tuning of course and a very good vacuuming through out its sound board/ strings etcAnd maybe the keyboards / area servicing, but every key plays and no sticking of any as such which can be pro magic on very old type pianos, Especialy of this type of -7 century musical instruments ie. square vintage antique pianos etcThe wood around the square. Area realy could do with sanding down and varnishing. Mahogany
The legs which are lovely fluted round / turned like trumpet horns, are in very nice original condition

Will look and feel amazing once again. Brought back to life in all its eleganceAs you can see from picturesIts shown as brought out of storageNo cleaning done to itAs it isI will give it a very nice wood polish up/ clean all the keys and vacuum inside/ out so the sound is better duplicated into open space without such hindrance added to it as the years of collecting dust onto the strings areas etc
What ever finish you want. Can be achieved by what ever time one wants to spend hereOne can sand down, wood fill certain screw areas showing. Re stain areas where woods lightened In places ie, the piano top/ foldable/Polish up brass parts etcClean polish stringed areaPolish up the beautiful fluted turned legs x 4 and super polish the brass castors to the leg bottoms etc, and this would look Totaly transformed indeedIf wanting to hold LEAF the edges and legs, there are kits out there as cheap so very reasonable/ afforded to spend 3/4 hours finishing off to a very very high standard and place extra added worth to this instrument / elegant piece of furniture etc
IF ONE LOOKS UP 17 century. Circa 1700 square pianos. They bring anywhere from 20 k. To 1200Thats at in reasonable conditionThere are cheaper models out there selling for around min value 2k. In reasonable condition again but from late 1800/ early -900 circa century
I HAVE SOURCED A PERIOD BRASS CASTOR, fluted as other 3Fitted to pianoforte,And have Totaly cleaned the key board, vacuumed out, and cleanedThe keys are all working, dampers all good, hammers all good and working alsoHave lightly restored the casing, and varnished/ lacquered. And it looks stunning now,I am just in the process of re tuning pianoforte to pitchShould be most enjoyable to play Spent some time here lightly refurbishing this very playable pianoforte. Square vintage era from the 1700 era
Can only appreciate in valueThe price is still way way to low to class it as a reasonable sale/ buy , As its a total give awayanybody knowing anything about such period vintage pianoforte. Square pianos, will most certainly know its a rare true investmentyiu just have to have some where to store it keep it
BETTER STILL, if your a player, have the room n to vintage period furnitureand looking for sucha pianothen. This does not want to be missednot now Ive done all. The work present to date on hershe can still be improved such as adding gold leaf design work which is easy/ ready to purchase of the shelf as a kiteasy to do/ fit, just having the spare time to do itwhich I dont havethe pianoforte is up for grabs, at a very, very, modest asking, give away price here Cant be here for long I dont think,
Ps. So the 1700 century circa models are very much sought after and in demand hereEspecialy in need for Statley, homes mansions. Period homes and art/ museum exhibit pieces
