Woodcarving unique hand carved bias relief of a pipe organ!Signed L. Clayion.This is a one of a kind unique hand carved bias relief of a pipe organ.Its carved from three sections of wood.  They are joined together, which can be seen in the photo of the backside.Dimensions are:  Length = 31-inches.  Height = 20-inches.  Thickness = 3/4-inch. From the estate of Robert A. Luther, [Organist with Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka Minnesota].  NOTE about the estate:  As a native of Iowa, Luther earned the Bachelor of Music degree in organ performance and church music, as well as, a Master of Music degree in organ performance and music theory from Drake University. Robert Luther has taught at Carleton College, The University of Evansville, Drake University, Grand View College, and the University of Michigan.Robert served as Principal Organist from 1984 to 2004 at Zion Lutheran Church and as Principal Organist Emeritus after his retirement.
