This is a good quality upright piano made in 1999 by B Steiner, designed in Germany and built in China (where 80% of pianos are now built). It is very good value for money and would be ideal for someone looking for a piano to take them from beginner level up to advanced grades. Fully checked, serviced, cleaned and polished inside and out, tuned to concert pitch and fully regulated (keys play smoothly across whole keyboard). 2 year warranty on all internal parts and labour included. Tone and tuning
This piano has a big, rich and full tone, especially considering its modest size, warm with some pleasant brightness also, and a very good dynamic range. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440). The piano features a 3rd pedal – mute / celeste pedal for very quiet practice – useful for late night practice if you have neighbours.
Keyboard and action
The full compass 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has been regulated so plays smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight action.
Hammers and strings
Virtually no wear in the hammers at all, strings as new.
Sound board
Excellent condition, as new, no cracks or splits.
Case
Stylish dark mahogany wood case with a high gloss lacquer – a tasteful mix of classical and modern. In mint condition.
Dimensions – 109cm tall, 57cm deep, 146 wide, a fairly small upright but with very nice tone
