A Baby grand piano once belonging to Chailey Heritage School, where Ian Dury was at school. This would have been played on by him when he was a pupil. It was damaged by a cleaner who used vinegar to wipe the keys. This caused the lead counter-weights in the keys to produce a small amount of oxidation, which caused the keys to jam. This is now all sorted, and the piano runs fine. Although it does all work, it is not a great instrument right now; however would be a good restoration project, and a good collector’s item for a Dury fan.
