Steinway Upright Piano with Incredible History

This is our Beautiful Steinway Upright Piano made in 1886 according to its serial number 55532. It is finished in a black (Ebonized) french polish case. One of the nicest pieces of history we have seen in our piano career at Sherwood Phoenix Pianos (approx. 6000 pianos) as it is a genuine one family owner piano from new and it has still got its original receipt from Steinway Hall London, a very rare article. This piano came at a cost of 75 in 1886, which could have bought you a small terraced house at the time, the equivalent value to todays index would be nearly 10,000 and it would cost about 30,000 to buy a piano of this quality from Steinway today new. Meanwhile this piano has not been through our full reconditioning process which has allowed us to offer it out at a 99p starting price. It is in incredible condition considering its grand age of 134 years old and is ideal for someone who doesnt quite have the budget for one of our fully reconditioned Steinway pianos or possibly one of the many other brands we have in our current stock, please check our other listings. Although it has not been through our reconditioning process, this piano requires no immediate work and is fit for purpose in its current condition.
