Reluctant sale of this beautiful instrument. Checked and tuned by a professional technician on 3/9/2019 who confirmed the piano is in good condition, working well and lovely tone. The piano tuner gave it a pitch raise when tuning the piano and suggested it could easily be raised again to concert pitch if the new owners wanted this at the next tune once it has settled after delivery.
There are 3 pedals – soft, sustain and practice pedal which decreases the volume.
There are similar Hellas pianos listed on ebay and gumtree for between 1500 and 1600 so this is an absolute bargain.
There is slight cosmetic damage under the keyboard out of sight from when some foam protector was removed. Doesn’t affect the workings of the piano in any way and can’t been seen without bending down and looking underneath the piano. A photo is provided so you can see this.
The price reflects this slight defect and the need for another tune to get it to concert pitch. Pianos usually need a tune a few months after they has been moved to a new home and acclimatised to the new, different environment.
Sensible offers will also be considered.
Viewing welcomed so that you can see and play for yourself in person or my son can also provide a demonstration if it is being considered for a non player who is going to learn.
Buyer to arrange collection. It is a very heavy item and would need two strong people or a professional piano moving company who are experts and have the suitable equipment to ensure safe transit to its new home.
