Mid Century Style Decorative Bentley Upright Piano
Selling our beautiful Bentley acoustic piano after just over 5 years. We bought it from a music teacher and musician who bought it at auction. Its been a great piano, ever given us any problems, no sticking keys and it holds its tuning very well – in fact we have only needed to tune it twice in the time weve had it and even after a house move it still sounded great. But it will need a tune after being moved as with any piano. Its a very attractive, compact piano with a nice decorative feature on the front panel. I believe it dates from the 1970s (serial number 123477) and its a british company. The style fits in very well with Mid Century modern furniture and its been a great piano to have in our small London flats. It seems to be quite an unusual and rare style. My daughter learned on it and shes now grade 6 and still enjoys playing. The only reason we are selling is that now we are in a smaller flat and she has a digital piano which she can play with headphones anytime and not disturb us or the neighbours. We will be sad to see it go as its so pretty to look at and holds sentimental value, however its just not being played enough over our digital so it needs to go to a new home. We live in a second floor walk up with no lift. Buyer would have to collect and pay for removal. The firm I used to move here with were very good and prices are around 240 for within London. I have taken the cost of moving into account hence the low asking price. But if you or your child are in the market for a reliable instrument to learn on and play regularly Id really recommend this one.
