Very beautiful Bechstein Model 7 Upright piano. A lot rarer than the more common Model 9 or Model 8 even. Taller bigger model and consequently bigger richer tone. Probably equivalent to a 5ft5 baby grand piano. Serial number 97887 dates to it to around 1911. Elephant tooth keys.
Lovely typical Bechstein tone. Quite mellow. Action plays well, on the light to medium side. Pretty casework. Probably Rosewood. Was restored in the past couple decades with new strings/ hammers etc. So should give trouble free playing for the foreseeable future.
