Serial Number 25913 – 1891-92
In need of a little care and attention.
Observations of a piano technician who recently thoroughly examined the piano:
Nice tone
No moth damage
Leather bushing
Keyboard and hammers – felts fine – look to be original or are certainly pretty old.
String gone – a low B flat and B; A flat wound string missing.
Strings all original/old.
Tiny bit of ring on the damper – someone with a trained ear would have to replace.
Rest plank is fine.
Small crack in the soundboard “not the end of the world”.
