Attractive Bechstein Model B grand piano in rosewood case
Part exchange bargain, priced to sell
Piano appears to have been restored in the past, with the iron frame repainted, piano restrung, case repolished, action renovated etc.
A good looking piano and the casework is in particularly good condition with only very tiny marks
The piano plays very well and has a solid rich tone which many of the older Bechsteins have lost, not this one. It is fully tuned and ready to play, appears to hold tuning well
There are a few very small cracks hence the cheap price but these don’t seem to affect the tone or structural integrity at all – no buzzing or resonances etc and the crown of the soundboard is good. Without these, this would be an 8000 piano but it wouldn’t sound any better.
A bargain for someone looking for a nice piano to play and enjoy – suitable for grades 1-8 without doubt particularly as this is an 88 key piano
