Bechstein Model B Grand Piano With Inlaid Mahogany Case C.1905
A Carl Bechstein Model B grand piano made in Berlin circa 1905, case number 33316. Features include: Sheraton style Inlaid mahogany case, ornate music desk, gated legs and lyre, 88 note keyboard and overstrung iron frame. Established in 1853, C. Bechstein is a highly respected German maker whose instruments are renowned for their exceptional quality and tone. Famous composers including Franz Liszt owned Bechstein instruments. This piano is in working order but would benefit from refurbishment to return the instrument to original playing condition. These Bechsteins restore beautifully and are well worth the investment (see last picture).
