A Carl Bechstein Model V antique grand piano made in Berlin circa 1890, case number 6165. Features include: rosewood case, ornate music desk, turned legs and lyre, 88 note keyboard and overstrung iron frame. Established in 1853, C. Bechstein is a highly respected German maker whose instruments are renowned for their exceptional quality and tone. Famous composers including Franz Liszt owned Bechstein instruments. This piano is in working order but would benefit from refurbishment to return the instrument to original playing condition.
