A beautiful looking and sounding instrument suitable for any level of player.
The piano has been professionally refurbished and adjusted where necessary, from the case and brass parts to the action and dampers and is tuned to concert pitch.
Approx 10-15 years old it is very similar to (or a high quality copy of) the benchmark Yamaha U3 – for a much lower price. Free local delivery, within 40 miles….
Tone and tuning
It has a big, rich and bright tone, and a big dynamic range. The tone in the bass is very full for an upright. It has just been tuned to concert pitch (A=440). This piano includes the middle ‘celeste’ pedal for very quiet practising where necessary!
Keyboard and action
Keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has been regulated so plays smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight.
Hammers and strings
Not much wear in the hammers at all – it has certainly not been played heavily. The strings look brand new!
Sound board
Excellent condition, no cracks or splits
Case
Lovely bright gloss black polyester finish. Apart from very very small marks and tiny surface scratches (impossible to photograph) it is in pristine condition. This piano will look fantastic in a modern or classic styled home. It is on casters, which have been oiled and move well.
Stool with storage included in the sale, as well as a cover for the piano.
