Bluthner Upright Piano Serial: 15587 straight-strung/underdamper action.
This is our piano that we bought from an antique auction sometime ago and it lived its whole live around the lincolshire area. It has a written service history within the frame and still plays beautifully, albeit it could do with a retune.
On researching the serial number it was built between 1875 to 1880 so it is at least 140 years old!. It also comes with the original candle holder not shown in the pictures.
Many similar pianos (much younger) fetch well over 1500 to 5000 but i have opted to risk it with a no reserve auction as i really have no idea of its worth. We are moving to Austalia which is the only reason it is offered for sale.
Highest bid gets it. Collection from LN2 – Lincoln.
