Bass octave of an 8′ Gedeckt stop. They can be used either decoratively, or in an  organ project. Being of zinc, they have the advantage of taking far less space than a wooden rank. However, they are not currently in playing condition. The soldering on all the tops has come adrift as per picture. The stoppers are all present and correct, but of course would need re-lining. If required for – say – amateur use, they could be made playable by firmly taping around the tops (as has previously been done on the bottom pipe). Notwithstanding the condition, I am loath to scrap them, and hope they will find an appreciative home.
