This is a lovely small 6 octave British built iron framed piano. We had the piano professionally tuned when we purchased it in 2013. The piano has stayed in tune, and plays well although it is not a Steinway:) It is however perfect for a child to learn on, without it taking up too much space in your home. The outer casing has taken some knocks down the years. These were there when we acquired the piano. Saying that is still looks a nice feature in the house, every house had one once upon a time! This piano is identical to a 6 Octave Kemble piano listed on here at the moment for five fifty! The workings look like new when you take off the front cover which in clips directly under the keyboard. This was sold originally from Leigh On Sea Essex, and there is a crown embossed on the iron work frame. Also says Minx Minor and British Made, which is a rarity these days unfortunately. This would be worth getting the casing restored by a French polisher. The dimensions are 46.5 inches x 21.5 deep x 35.5 inches high to top of piano.My knees fit under this piano and I am 64 so it is suitable for adult players too! We collected this from Devon in the back of our Renault Grande Espace, so its much easier to shift that the full sized uprights!
