The CTK-7200 has everything a budding pro musician needs for music production, live performance and audio recording.
With 820 sounds and over 260 automatic accompaniments that include ethnic and world rhythms, this keyboard is perfect for any style of music. As well as features to help you achieve a professional soundeasily, the CTK-7200 has a range of built-in studio tools to boost your creativity.
The CTK-7200 has four built-in speakers and can also be played using headphones. Two separate Audio Inputs allow you to plug in other instruments, make recordings and play their sounds through the keyboard. You can also record your singing by connecting a suitable microphone. A 12v power adapter is supplied and the keyboard will also run on six D-size batteries for up to 4 hours’ continuous use.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced keyboard player, you’ll find the CTK-7200 has many features that help you to realise your musical potential. For beginners, the touch sensitive, piano-shaped keys and optional sustain pedal give an ideal introduction to the basics of piano-style playing. Alternatively, you can select any of thebuilt-in automatic accompaniment styles and play along to your own backing band that follows the notes you play on the keyboard.
There are a huge range of sounds available; everything from acoustic and electric pianos, strings, guitars, orchestral instruments and synthesiser sounds are ready to be instantly recalled using the LCD screen and voice buttons.Sounds can be layered together or separated into different parts of the keyboard, with up to 3 sounds being played at once.
To make setting up easy, the CTK-7200 includes 300 Music Presets that cover a wide variety of musical styles. Designed by professional musicians, Music Presets set up a suitable melody sound with an accompaniment style, making it possible to play straight away without having to program the keyboard first.
More advanced players will appreciate that every sound and accompaniment style is completely editable if required, meaning that you can customise everything tosuit your style of playing. In fact, what makes the CTK-7200 special is the power of the studio tools that are built into the keyboard.
A Portable Production Studio with Audio Recording
The 17-track song recorder allows you to build up your musical arrangements from scratch and edit them without the need for any extra computer software. Every note, drum beat, chord or settings change can be edited if desired and saved as a standard MIDI file. Advanced features such as Quantize and Punch-In recording are possible too. Alternatively, you can make quick and simple recordings using the Quick Record feature.
Each sound can be enhanced with any of the 100 Digital Effects, including Delay, Distortion, Wah-Wah and many more. Each effect is fully customisable and any changes you make can be saved for later use. This is in addition to Reverb and Chorus effects which can be used as well.
An SD Memory Card Slot is also included so that you can save audio recordings, songs and keyboard settings to any SD memory card for easy transfer to computer.
Record audio to an SD memory card
One of the most powerful features on the CTK-7200 is Audio Record. This enables you to record your playing and singing as a digital audio file which can then be copied to a computer and shared via the internet if you wish. Ideal for songwriters who are looking to make high-quality demo tracks, the keyboard also allows you to record the microphone and other instrument inputs as digital audio and apply any of the built-in digital effects to enhance your production.
It is also possible to play along with any audio track that you have loaded to the SD memory card. By using the Centre Cancel facility, it is possible to suppress the vocals or the main instrument in any audio track, allowing you to play the melody on the keyboard.
9 Sliders can be used as Organ Drawbars

The CTK-7200 has 9 sliders that function as Organ Drawbars. The sliders make it possible to change the organ tone immediately, just like the classic instrument. Features such as Rotary Speed, Vibrato, Key Click and Percussion are also included for a truly authentic sound. The Rotary Speaker sound can be changed to suit different styles of organ music, such as applying some distortion for rock music.
Additional Features
When not used as a drawbar organ, the nine sliders can be used to control the 32-channel mixer, giving you full control over the volume of each of the individual voices and accompaniment tracks.
Auto Harmonize:copies the notes of the chords you play into your melody for a more professional-sounding performance. There are 12 different Auto Harmonize settings to suit all styles of music.
Registration Memories:can store 96 of your favourite song settings in the keyboard’s memory.
Pattern Sequencer:makes it possible to edit or remix any of the built-in accompaniments. You can also write your own and store up to 100 new patterns in the keyboard’s memory.
Arpeggiator:allows you to create exciting note patterns automatically. There are 140 different patterns to explore.
The Transpose Feature:makes it possible to play a song in any key which is perfect for accompanying singers or other instruments.
Different Scale Tunings:make it possible to play all styles of music. You can even fine tune each note to create your own scale if required.

Chord Modes:Complete beginners will enjoy being able to play chords with just one finger whilst experienced players can switch to full chord mode for more advanced harmonies, including variable bass notes.
