Casio Privia PX700 – Not Working/ For Parts or Repair Only. Condition is For parts or not working.
I am selling my poor old, Casio Privia PX700 after it sadly became faulty after 14 years of good use and 4 house moves. The touch sensitivity on the weighted keys is no longer working (i’m not sure if this can be fixed) but the biggest fault is with the sustain pedal, where the plastic casing holding the pedal in place has snapped. I conjured up a DIY fix with some string to hold it in place which when properly assembled ensured the pedal could function as normal, though was a bit fiddly in getting the sensitivity right. Sometimes it was always on, other times it would take a lot of pressure to make it work. I’m not sure if this could be fixed properly with the right tools.
As with a lot of use and moves, there is some slightly cosmetic wear and tear and the back board has come away slightly from the back and some scuffs on the front.
