Very compact Positive pipe organ c.1910 Opus 781. This organ was rebuilt and moved to its current location by Henry Wills organ builders in the mid 1980s. Plays very well. The pipe work is of high quality spotted metal and the all the stops have a distinctive and clear tone. Perfectly flutey Gedakt, if you know what I mean! Stops are also split into Bass and Treble giving the instrument more versatility for a single manual. The visible leather motors (or mini action bellows) are in excellent condition and i would think were all releathered durning the rebuild by Willis. The organ also benefits from having a near silent BOB blower and organ heater.Only issues I have found are around 6 or the 16ft Bourdon notes are not speaking, I think this is likely a regulation issue rather than something fundamental as everything else is working well. We can provide some help dismantling/ moving the organ to your transport. You will need to make a plan to remove and pack the pipes. I will need a few days notice if you want extra pairs of hands. A tail lift is recommended! Please note access to the church is via steps.Relisted due to insufficient transport arrangements by last winning bidder. Please do not send a courier to collect this!
Reserve is 100.
Collection is from GL17 after 16/04/19
Please feel free to ask any questions.
