Challen Studio Upright Piano
Lovely example of a sought after Challen studio upright piano in very good condition and perfect working order. There are a few minor marks on the case as to be expected for it’s age (1960 ish) but as you can see from the photos, it still looks great.
These Challen pianos have been a firm favourite with recording studios for many years, chosen for their sound quality and reliability by the likes of the BBC and Abbey Rd where you’ll still find them in use today.
The piano sounds superb and is a real joy to play. It’s been well maintained and was last tuned in January of this year. You are very welcome to come and have a play.
Would be suitable for a serious begginer or advanced player alike, home or studio use. If you’re looking for a great sounding, reliable piano with a bit more style and mojo than your average upright then consider one of these.
