Amazing instrument presently sitting fully functional in the Chapel in which it was originally installed. A plaque affixed to the organ shows that it was restored in 1945, when we think it was also converted to function electronically. The Chapel has now been acquired for development, and the interior will ultimately have to be stripped out.
We are reluctant to touch the organ for fear of causing damage, and we would prefer that it was dismantled by someone who knows what they are doing. We are inviting best offers on the basis that buyer dismantles and collects. The keyboard (two decks) is built in to a glass fronted cabinet which was locked by the last user. The keyboard was photographed through glass from two angles. This is a very large, imposing instrument, deserving of care and attention. Inspection welcome. We will need to re-introduce a temporary electricity supply to the Chapel if you want to hear the instrument played. No returns accepted.
