For sale my practice organ.
Origionally built by Mander, it’s three ranks of pipework, extended to give quite a large specification.
The three ranks are Dulciana, Open diapason, and stopped diapason.
The Dulciana and open diapason have true 8′ pipes at the lowest note, not stopped bass. The stopped diapason transitions to wooden pipework and forms the 16′ pedal pipes.
The action is electric, with the console being detached and therefore positionable. I’ve always had it in front of the pipes.

Sw to pedOne imitation swell pedal, very useful for practice. It is standard 240v single phase and runs off 2 normal plugs. These can be left on and the whole thing turned on by the blower switch like normal. It makes quite a sound, and is very versatile for all different styles of music. The 16′ bourdon is particularly good, it’s warm and sounds well giving a lovely depth of tone.If you’re able to use a screwdriver, you’ll be able to assemble this. It doesn’t need an organ builder to do it, it’s very well built and parts are labeled or identified as to what goes where. I have also been organ building for several years and will assist in what ever way required.
You will need to hire a van to move it.
The console is heavy! Please bring someone else to help lift!
I am happy to assist completely in its disassembly and reassembly. I will also assist in loading and unloading etc, you basically have my services as an organ builder to put it together, free of charge.
I can tune it too when it is installed, but I’m not the best at this, and would recommend you get it professionally tuned after it’s settled to the humidity of your house etc too.
The dimensions :
It’s 8’10 wide by about 6’6 deep. The bourdon overhangs at the back as it’s mitred but there would be a little space to walk or store music on a shelf.
Its 8′ 3″ high at the highest.
The console and pedal board are additional to these dimentions. They are a usual console size. I’ll take some better photos in the week, when I’ve had chance to clear round it a bit.
