Circuit Bent Yamaha PSS-140 with 8 switch data line cut modification to operate the keyboard all 8 switches should be at the off position before switching on. The data line mods can be activated by switching these on whilst pressing keys and buttons on the keyboard. These mods are very unpredictable they can produce a random range of strange sounds and keyboard glitches however they can also do nothing and even crash the keyboard which means you have to reset the switches to the off position and switch the unit off and back on again. This is the nature of circuit bent instruments and are really only recommended for someone who likes to experiment with sound and would advise on researching the subject before bidding. Keyboard also has a speaker/line switch to select between the speaker and the independent line out/headphone socket on the side of the unit. This line out is wired to an independent volume control (attenuator) which is required as the keyboard can lock into full volume when using the mods. This is a basic modification that is versatile in producing many variations of strange sounds and can make the keyboard function in a very strange way too but also keeps the original functionality of the keyboard intact. The keyboard although modified is cosmetically and functionally in great condition and could also be further modified by creating patch bay points on the contacts on the switches for more combinations of random glitches.
