This is a complete Great organ, with its soundboard of 61-note compass and drawstop machine. The only incomplete bit is that the Open Diapason stops at Tenor C, but could be completed in either closed or open pipes, dependent upon space. The specification is: Open Diapason 8; Clarabella 8 (wood); Dulciana 8 (grooved bass); Principal 4; Harmonic Flute 4; Twelfth 2 2/3; Fifteenth 2. It was rebuilt some years ago by Conacher, and is assumed to have taken its present form then – i.e. the 12th. and 15th. have been introduced, and some rescalling of other ranks iundertaken to match. The soundboard was also converted to EP. There are only two or three replacement pipes, including an odd metal pipe in the middle of the wooden Clarabellas which, however, seems quite successful. The top notes of both Twelfth and Fifteenth were clearly brand new at the update, and are all in good condition. With this complete Great also comes the 11-stop drawstop machine from the Swell and a 16′ pedal chest from the same organ.
