This handsome 8 day clock carries a label with the following inscription. ‘ Presented to MR H C Theobald by the members of the staff of Messrs Dale Forty and Co Ltd on the occasion of his marriage Dec 26 1911’. The case has a minor bit of damage on top rhs(see photo) otherwise is in good condition. It measure 14 inches across and 16.5 inches high. The movement is 8 day and comes with key and pendulum. Neither of the springs are overwound and the movement does need attention from a clock restorer to get it to run. A very handsome showy piece and interesting from the piano history side. I don’t know who the maker was. It is very heavy and delicate so collection in person only.
