Our Village Hall is selling its seldom used Dale Forty, London, Upright Metal Framed, Over Damped, Straight Strung Piano. The top note does not sound, the key/hammer works but I suspect the wire is broken. All other keys sound their notes.
85 keys in total, 50 white and 35 black. The 11 keys with marks are little stickers where the notes were probably written when someone was learning to play – they should clean off with no issues. If I get chance, I’ll have a go!
I believe it is an iron framed piano and will need tuning to be played at its best but being metal framed, once tuned it will keep its tune for longer.
Buyer will need to remove – it is very heavy, I can help to push it to help move it but I can’t help with lifting it.
