This is a lovely little baby grand by D’Almaine of London, built around 1930. It is triple cross strung to give the small piano the maximum in string length to give it resonant and rich sound that is unexpected from such a small sized piano.
The action is nice and responsive, and is a joy to play. The piano is tuned to A440 concert pitch.
Presented in straight grained mahogany this is a nice little piece of furntiure as it is a musical instrument.
